On April 24, 2020, the Ministry of Health issued Resolution 666 adopting the general biosecurity protocol to mitigate, control and adequately manage the COVID – 19 Coronavirus pandemic.

Following the recommendations made by the international labor organization, the company seeks to protect workers and employers and their families from the health risks generated by the COVID – 19 coronavirus, thus obliging employers to provide and maintain a work environment in adequate conditions of hygiene and safety, establishing work methods with minimum health risks within the production process.
Therefore, the general biosafety protocol is adopted for all economic and social activities and sectors of public administration. This protocol entails a series of obligations for both employers and workers, which must be fully complied with in order to avoid the spread of COVID-19 and possible sanctions for the company.
Our law firm accompanies Colombian companies in the elaboration, socialization and implementation of biosafety protocols, thus allowing, with the proper authorization of the respective mayor’s office, the development of their economic activities.
The implementation of these protocols is of utmost importance due to the social responsibility that this entails and to avoid fines and inconveniences with the local authorities.
